A city street with a bike lane separated by concrete barriers, a large corner building in the background, and a few scattered papers on the pavement. The street is empty and there are no vehicles in sight.

The Challenge

Los Angeles took advantage of the Free Pilot program to test out real bicycle safety measures in the heart of downtwon LA!

A wide bike lane on a city street is separated from traffic by flexible bollards and concrete barriers. Directional arrows and bike symbols are painted on the pavement. Tall buildings and trees line the empty street.

The Solution

Los Angeles is currently testing over 200 linear feet of SAFE-T Lane in the heart of downtown. Safe-T Lane's rapid installation made it a clear winner for implementing real safety in record time.
