The Challenge
The City of Littleton had a very busy roadway corridor that ran along the front of a Community College very near downtown Littleton's Main St. This area sees a significant amount of college students on bikes and on foot. It also see a lot of bicycle travel by citizens visiting Main street. The challenge was to protect the bicyclists and pedestrians while maintaining acces to bus stops, parking lot entrances and side streets.
"We were so excited to take advantage of the FREE Pilot Project Program. We were able to secure and protect over 850 feet of bike lane on a very congested roadway in front of the college. Done in one day and free!

The Solution

The City of Littleton became one of the first cities in America to take advantage of our risk-free Pilot Project Program. Littleton was able to install almost 250 liner feet of SAFE-T Lane Dividers on Church St along the entrance and parking lots of Arapahoe Community College in just one day! Installing SAFE-T Lane Dividers in broken chains allowed them to retain parking lot access, bus stop access and side road access on almost 850 feet of roadway. College students and citizens alike now benefit from the added protection along this busy corridor.
